My philosophy of teaching is to prepare students with the knowledge, pedagogy, confidence, and professional presence to become effective educators who make a positive impact on others. My responsibility to these collegiate education majors is to provide them with quality instruction, promote critical thinking skills, and encourage reflective and professional attitudes. These education students are going to be our future teachers and are making a commitment to the betterment of our society. Through their coursework, field experiences, and involvements at Bethany, they are preparing for a career and a future to make use of their unique skills and abilities. I believe in Bethany's students' potential to work hard, accomplish goals, be compassionate, be responsible by modeling professionalism, motivate others around them, and have a vision for success!
